Make sure you have the overscan settings set correct (you may have to do this for both 1080P and 720P):

You can try checking the box on the bottom about "use the scaling values instead...".

Think about getting a new HDMI cable (high-speed HDMI 1.4) and/or using a different port on the video card. You can try using a DVI to HDMI adapter.

Fredz,
I was trying to PM you but I am not familiar with forums.
Could you please help me?
Having Ubuntu and Nvidia video card + HDMI 1.4 display (a DLP 3D projector enabled via VIP Gamer):
is there a way to see 3D from Linux?

Thanks and kind regards

Don't PM, just post a forum topic so anyone can answer and other people can benefit from the answers. And don't hijack threads like this when there is no relationship to your question, that makes it harder to find valuable information in the forum.

Registered mainly to say I just ordered this thanks to your review - despite all the trashing I am mighty excited and am looking foward to when it arrives - I have an 'old' Sammy 2233RZ which I reckon is great - time though to get a bigger 1 :o :o :o :o . ...and, I will now have 2 pair of Nvision glasses, so my wife can get a look @my crazy 3D gaming
Thanks again Fredz :D :D :D
