New site style

Post by sharky »

Hi guys!

i personally think that the site needs to be freshed up with a new menu. so i dicided to create some examples of what i would like to have on the site. please post your comments. and please be hoest, neather i or neil have problems with negative comments. we both think that comments help us to go in the right direction. so here are my ideas, for obvious reasons only 2 have the whole text and logo on them.. for the others just use your immagination.. :D

bye

I think I like the ones with the squared and rectangular metal popping out.

Number 4 is my favorite so far. What do you guys think? Is it better than what we have?

i like this one the most up to now.. i preffer the ones with no metallic pattern because these remind me more of a futuristic hithech ferrofluid.

Looks nice.
My personal opinion is that if any website should have amazing popout 3D graphics it should mtbs3D.com. Something that looks kool and nice like f.ex.:
http://www.x-fi.com/ (nice graphics and colors)
The main page should be a lot visual and not a lot of text.
Then when You click on "Stereoscopic 3D" there should be a lot of 3D demo/exsamples and a guide to how to game in 3D and what it costs and where to buy.
Or You could just put a link to my website where ppl in 2 minutes can see 3D gamepics and find a link to gear and a guide.
This is my personal opinion - nothing more.

hi freke!

thank you for your oppinion!
it would be good if you post all your ideas in new threads and keep this exclusively for the pagestyle.

i saw the page you linked.. it seems really flat to me.. maybe we should have something popping out.. don't you think?

Hi the graphics are great. They fit nicely for our page.
I like the 'Number2' best, because the image has not just 'Buttons'. It seems, like things actually come out of the screen :)

But the butons ar ok, too.
