MTBS Gallery, NVIDIA Drivers, Samsung Blue Phase News

Some good news on the gallery front! Until recently, we have been having problems where upload sizes were being limited to the amount of data that can be sent in five minutes. Thanks to a confirmation from Freke, we have overcome this issue. We have reorganized the MTBS Gallery[/b] so you can upload monoscopic and stereoscopic 3D videos. We ask that it be public domain content and/or material you have the right to disseminate. No adult material please - we should be proud of what appears in our gallery.

There is some debate on how the gallery should be organized, and we would value your input HERE[/b].

Some NVIDIA news as well. While an updated stereo driver isn’t out yet, Zalman is now offering a single download that includes the new 175.16 GeForce WHQL Vista 32 driver and the older 174.76 stereo driver. This means that for those users concerned about not having perfectly matching driver pairs, there is nothing to be worried about.

Finally, DmitryKo gets credit for this one. Samsung has announced that 240Hz Blue Phase LCD panels will debut in 2011. While the press release[/b] does not elaborate further, the significance for us is that this may be an open door for stereoscopic 3D compatibility with shutter glasses and their LCD technology. It is much too soon to tell, and this comment is not based on a statement from Samsung.
