Re: Vision Magazine S-3D Gaming Coverage
It's the big industry's own propaganda, so I read in there just what i was expecting.
Big companies with huge ressources predicting their own expected huge success next year.
On one hand it's a good thing that the industry is now fully supporting 3D (unlike what samsung did for it's 3D ready TVs last year).
But on the other hand the more I hear and the more I fear that next year 3DTVs sold by these huge companies to only be shutter based.
We'll get a clearer answer at CES-2010 on that.
It was very courageous of you Neil to slip in a few words about "polarized" technology.

Re: Vision Magazine S-3D Gaming Coverage
Nothing courageous about being factual!
Remember, a lot of these companies invested in S-3D gaming. Ubisoft, Blitz, NVIDIA, etc. Resources or not, that's courageous.
What would be even MORE courageous is if these champions of S-3D gaming join the non-profit S3DGA, and indeed back their first efforts with a long term action plan.
Whatever happens, it's good to see the industry finally speaking seriously about gaming.
Regards,
Neil
