Geo-11 Jedi Fallen Order/Arkham Knight/ (UE4?)
I haven't had any success in getting stereo to engage in either game. I had success with Lego SW: Skywalker, but not these two UE4 games with custom fixes (have yet to test any games using Losti's universal fix.)
They aren't crashing, just not engaging Geo-11 from what I can tell.
Alienware M15, RTX 3070 laptop
Win11/Driver 511.79

Check for a log file in the game folder of d3d11_log.txt. If it's running it will create a log.
Also don't forget to set force_stereo=2 in d3dx.ini, otherwise geo-11 is not turned on.

Re: Geo-11 Jedi Fallen Order/Arkham Knight/ (UE4?)
Thanks for the reply bo3bber... I did force stereo 2 in Arkham. The Fallen Order d3dx did not have the line (at least I couldn't find it) - tried adding it, but that didn't work.
Since I posted earlier, I have also tried Kena and couldn't get stereo to hook in that game either... I seem to be having an issue with UE4 games. The only non-UE4 game that I have tested is Skywalker Saga and that performed brilliantly.
Stupid question time... I am putting the Geo-11 files in the same location as the fix files and the .exe (binaries/win64) for these UE4 games, that is the correct location, yes?

Yeah some of the fixes have the files all moved around. You need the d3dx.ini file it's using in whatever spot.thebigdogma wrote: ↑Tue Jun 21, 2022 5:11 pm Thanks for the reply bo3bber... Files go by the game.exe just like usual. If you don't get a log file, the game might need a preloader like our dxgi.dll, but that should come with the fix.

Re: Geo-11 Jedi Fallen Order/Arkham Knight/ (UE4?)
To trigger geo11 for Jedi Fallen Order -> edit the file "rlsmode" in ShaderFixes directory so that;
full_screen=1
force_stereo=2
Then enjoy the significant gains from geo11! The game is an absolute 3d showcase!

Thanks! Will try... outside of Skywalker Saga, I have had no success forcing stereo it seems. I've gone through half a dozen games, including one D11 title with no fix that I know works in 3DV (Castle of Illusion - just to see if older fixes were part of the problem) and can't get it hooked in any of them.
Will report back on Jedi to see if your suggestion does the trick.

That did the trick! I'm going to take a look at the UE4 games/fixes that I have previously tested to see if this will work in them as well.

Got this up and running on my 3080. Stopped playing this on my 1080ti because of the severe frame rate dips.. Now running solid 60fps.. AWESOME!

Yes, it is crazy. Think I will have a new runthrough of the game, just to enjoy it all. One of the most beautiful 3d games also with DJRKs amazing fix.

Re: Geo-11 Jedi Fallen Order/Arkham Knight/ (UE4?)
So let's see if I understand.
1) First I paste the contents of the helix mod fix into the main folder for the game.
2) Then the file "rlsmode" in ShaderFixes I make those 2 changes.
3) But when I copy and paste the contents of the x64 folder of geo - 11 over that, it overwrites the Shaderfixes folder because it also has a folder called Shaderfixes.
So the helix mod folder with the rslmode no longer exists. How did you handle that?

Re: Geo-11 Jedi Fallen Order/Arkham Knight/ (UE4?)
You should only copy the .dll files and d3dxdm.ini from the geo11 0.0.6 archive... (d3d11.dll, d3dCompiler_47.dll, d3dxdm.ini and nvapi64.dll). Don't copy the ShaderFixes directory or the d3dx.ini file otherwise you corrupt your original Fix. You will have to edit your original d3d11.ini to ensure "force_stereo=2" is set in the [Devices] section in order to invoke geo-11. Hope that helps.VR3D wrote: ↑Sat Jun 25, 2022 6:36 pmSo let's see if I understand.

Re: Geo-11 Jedi Fallen Order/Arkham Knight/ (UE4?)
That did the trick thank you so much!
I also realized that I was putting the files in the wrong area. Needed to go to \Jedi Fallen Order\SwGame\Binaries\Win64. That's where the game exe is.
By the way on my 3080 and 9700k I'm getting around 40-50 fps in the opening level at 3840x2160. The opening cinema was even in the 30's. When I drop it down to 2560x1440 it is stable at 60 fps. Also the dynamic resolution keeps it at 60 fps even at 4k but the image is messed up. Is that expected performance for this game?

Re: Geo-11 Jedi Fallen Order/Arkham Knight/ (UE4?)
Not sure if Arkham Knight was added to the title of this thread later on (I replied with Fallen Order working nicely), but I cannot get Arkham Knight to actually work with Geo-11 at all (SBS mode).. It creates a dx3d11_log.txt when I have logging enabled on "calls", but does not create an nvapi64 log. There seems to be an nvapi wrapper override issue.
EDIT: hmmm.. After seeing bo3b's post below, I think I will re-install the game, fix , geo and try again. As requested, will post in other thread if issues persist Perhaps OP could edit title as this was the first thread I found for AK when I did a search.

Yeah, let's not mix games together in the same thread- please move this to a Arkham Knight specific thread. I tested AK today and it was working well, including dx9 mode.
You trimmed the settings reporting section of the log- don't do that, I can't figure anything out if you cut out the information I need. Please just post the full log when asking.

Re: Geo-11 Jedi Fallen Order/Arkham Knight/ (UE4?)
Since I don't see another thread for Fallen Order I will post here. The rlsmode.ini edits allowed me to get this game up and running in DX9 mode. I was able to play about an hour in and get to the first combat section. The moment I get into combat with the storm troopers some effect goes crazy or something and it envelopes the screen entirely white in the matter of a second, it goes away in the pause menu, but comes right back. So currently I can't get any further. Anyone know anything about this?

I'm pretty sure that's a bug in geo-11. I know Dave has fixed similar sorts of effects misfires. I'll add this as a bug report for him to know about.Abwezi wrote: ↑Mon Jun 27, 2022 3:33 pm Since I don't see another thread for Fallen Order I will post here. Strange that it takes that long, but might be some special effect they add to combat. Would be worth experimenting with settings to see if you can narrow down a setting. Like set everything to lowest, see if it happens. If not, then start turning stuff back up until you find it.

Re: Geo-11 Jedi Fallen Order/Arkham Knight/ (UE4?)
I encountered the bug a couple times before the part that is filtering me but those times it actually resolved itself when pausing/unpausing. The first section fighting the storm troopers though is where it becomes persistent and is definitely related to them because one time I was able to mash around and kill the enemies and it stopped happening, but then the very next set of enemies it happened again. No combination of lowering / disabling effects and graphics seems to helpbo3bber wrote: ↑Mon Jun 27, 2022 6:12 pmI'm pretty sure that's a bug in geo-11. Hi everybody, I have exactly the same issue with Jedi Fallen Order, white screen while entering combat. During exploration it works like a charm. No problem with witcher 3 geo-11 also. Has any solution been found? I'm on 2080ti, i7-12700, win 10, drivers 452.06, monitor asus PG278QR (also tested with 425.31, same problem). UPDATE: problem solved. I had it under nvidia_dx9, but with nvidia_dx11 it is gone. I had to stick with 9 because 11 used to crash, but then I found out about the global driver hack toggle in 3DFM and activating this hack made it possible to run geo-11+JFO with nvidia_dx11, and now the white screen in combat doen't show up anymore

How to activate the global driver hack toggle in 3DFM 1.85?
the instructions are these,To install the driver modification on a global scope go to "Nvidia 3D Settings" tab and tick the option: "Show global driver hack toggle" . Now a second toggle appears directly below the 3D icon on the top right of the window.
but I can not find "Show global driver hack toggle in Nvidia 3D Settings

THANKS @Lysander
I've been passing a few posts,
and I read an answer by Losti on the same problem
that with the drivers 425.31 the key Hack does not appear

"The option isn't there. I think it's because the driver hack isn't used for driver v425.
I wasn't aware of that. I thought you always needed it if using Win 10 (but not with Win 7 or 8.1). My mistake "
"@Losti Yes 425.31 dont need any Hack.
