Hey everyone!
I'm not sure if this' been asked before, but I couldn't find an answer.
Can a VR headset be used as a 3D vision display?
I mean without any head tracking stuff, to plainly display 3D just as a 3D monitor or TV would, with nvidia's 3D vision automatic.
I'm asking because, well... our options are saddeningly limited now
I'd love to buy an oled 4k 3D tv, but I cant find any around here anymore, not even on the used market.

I see... Though that's not native 3d vision, but software in development. I hope it will soon have as good performance and compatibility.
But since we're talking about helixvision, could it also support a dual projector setup?

Actually that is native 3D Vision. HelixVision uses the 3D Vision as a fundamental component to generate the 3D image. That is a weak spot actually, because if we cannot keep 3D Vision running HelixVision will also stop running.Innuendo1231 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 11, 2020 1:51 am I see... It's basically exactly what your title asks- using the VR headset as a 3D Vision display. Run the free Demo and you can see exactly how it looks with 3D Vision screen shots.
