Anyone else play this game? What are your thoughts on its S-3D effectiveness?

hi! very nice review, however I have some reservations about your use of "explosions are rendered as 2d objects" as this can obfuscate the meaning for some. Please use "screen depth" instead- in many, especially older games (like half life 1) explosions are 2d (rendered on a single polygon) yet are rendered at their correct depth.

Good idea. We should make the terminology consistent.

Good review, I may be tempted to try this game once/if iz3D get it working well.
Oh and yes, I noticed the 666

Hah! I didn't realize the significance of the 666. It just averaged out that way.

Slightly OT: But is there anyway you could start capturing in-game video for the reviews? We all-ready have the methods to capture S3D in-game footage and a Stereo video would give a us a better impression of the game than Stereo Screenshots.

FRAPS doesn't work with the drivers, and I don't have a video capture card. What techniques did you have in mind?

A Capture Card like BlackShark uses, they are pretty cheap for SD ($20 - Component ones are pricey though).
Would this be a option you'd consider? I was just thinking have videos instead of screenshots, using the 3D Sessions player?

I must agree, if you can make s3d videos for us to watch, this would entice me in ways that static photos don't. Keep up the good work Neil.
