FSX headtracking drift re-center

Since Perception v2 is giving me the @@ dll hijack errors (even for other programs I'm running in the background), I'm stuck with v1 for MS FSX on the Rift. Which is fine -- it works great!

Only problem is the yaw drifts a lot! So is there any button or hotkey to reset/recenter/reorient the headset? And if so, could this key be mapped to a joystick button (as I'll apparently be using it a lot)?

I think it's unlikely I'm afraid.. orientation reset was only added recently.

That's okay...I got confused. I've been messing around with several setups (vorpX, Perception, fsxrift, freetracknoir, etc.) and I forgot which one I was using :oP

FSX is working splendidly for me with Perception v1.0.0 and opentrack!

FSX not currently a supported title in Vireio 2.x.. hopefully support is coming, but this game is known to have some issues so it might be a while.. one of those issues is it crashing

Thanks for the warning.
Is this possibly why if I copy the Vireio 2 "dell" files in the FSX route directory in order to activate it, the game crashes on start ?
Or is this perhaps another issue?
I'd appreciate to know if someone out there has experienced similar behaviours.

I am testing on my second best computer as I am away from home:

Macbook pro 15" Retina

i7 4.7 Ghz quad core

Running Win 7 Ultimate on Bootcamp

Thanks

Hi there,
I hope you won't mind me asking just how you install and set the two add-ons in conjunction with FSX.

I got my DK2 last week and I haven't been able to make it work with FSX as yet.

I like the idea of using Perception / Opentrack and keep everything simple if they do the trick. :)

Many Thanks

Has anyone got it working on 0.7.0.0?
