I have to admit, this is very exciting. I didn't except to this level of quality for awhile.

Obviously some very very strong minds are jumping into VR.

While it's still pretty rough, the level of presence in the following demo is pretty amazing ( down to being able to see and touch the wrinkles in your shirt)

Kinect II should be even faster with a higher resolution so that should become very realistic I'd guess.

He had positional tracking as well.

Actualy the Kinect 2 is only 512×424 at 30Hz. The Kinect 1 was 640x480 at 30Hz but it didn't use a time-of-flight camera so the depth resolution was much lower.
