That's pretty awesome. Presumably they control it from the shuttle itself so latency isn't so much an issue.
I've often wondered if it is going to turn out that non games spark demand for the rift as much as games. Let's hope so! That'd be an interesting world.

I think its great NASA venturing back into V.R & all but I sort of thought they'd be capable of better technologies than the Rift & K2.

Perhaps NASA will release an amazingly complex,
immersive,
VR-enabled,
amazing,
LIFE CHANGING,
JAW DROPPING,
"OMG I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!" -
game set in space to get everybody pumped up about becoming a multi-planetary species.
I know I'd buy it...
