I had a little experiment with Borderlands 2 using the UT3 configuration, and got the following:
http://steamcommunity.com/id/mm0zct/scr ... ppid=49520
as you can see in http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/59474 ... C533600B5/ it works great...
except that it is flickering occluding geometry and black areas like this http://cloud-2.steampowered.com/ugc/594 ... DA3B01D78/
It's as if the camera is inside the player character's own head, but I think it's more likely given the way the artifacs behave that some geometry is being rendered at 0,0,0 or thereabouts with some vertices at infinity (corrupt/mangled transform matrix on something). It's weird because when you get a glimpse past it everything else looks great. I had turned all the settings to lowest to try and get rid of the black thing.

Interesting. I don't know the answer, but it looks like it could look OK with just a little tweaking.

Re: Borderlands 2
I tried the original Borderlands and that works using the UT3 profile (haven't got my Rift yet so I was testing visuals only). Borderlands 2 is a further modified version of the UT3 version they used for the original so I'm guessing it can probably be made to work. Whether it requires a modified proxy in Vireio or can be worked around like some of the Skyrim issues remains to be seen.

Re: Borderlands 2
If someone could get Borderlands 2 to work with it, that'd be wonderful! That's one of those games that I started, but never did finish...
