Porting older games' HMD support to Oculus Rift

I was curious about a way of replaying older look glass games on the oculus rift.
Interestingly enough, before the success of quake, many FPS RPGs were much slower paced, including System Shock 1 in such games the head camera movement and mouse cursor were naturally separate, increasing the immersion of looking one way and aiming the other
I found out that there was a hmd that system shock supported, including 6DOF headtracking, and stereoscopic 3D:

Many games were supported:

Does any one have any information regarding attempted ports of these legacy gems?
