Hi Guys!
I'm stumped with a problem.
I'm using an MSI K9A2 Platinum motherboard with an AMD 3870X2 GPU. For whatever reason, I need to use the Realtek onboard audio controller. However, all channels work properly EXCEPT the front right channel in my surround sound speakers.
I can confirm that the front right speaker works, but the volume is extremely low. The problem is consistent on both XP and Vista OS systems.
Does anyone else have similar problems?
Regards,
Neil

Re: Problems With Realtek ALC888!
Neil,
If both operating systems have the same problem then it's almost likely a hardware issue.
You can proibably find the same replacement audio card.
