The tracker is going to be much, much improved for the consumer version. Positional tracking is a must have.

I'd bet my Rift that they plan on having head-mounted camera tracking on the consumer version - with pass through navigational video of course.

We are still working on it, hard to say for certain at the moment. The tracking output should be exposed, so people could use it for other purposes if they want to!
