3DCone kickstarter looks interesting, but I can't wrap my mind around the concept (I should have listened/studied harder in geometry I guess). Plus, the sample video just doesn't grab me.

It's interesting, but the timing is kinda weird. The next iPhone (5?) is gonna be available in a little bit more than one month from now, and it's more than probable that its size will be different from previous generations (larger screen). Also, I can't see a reason why they designed this thing with a proeminent cone when they're just using a beam splitter. Pretty much not handy to carry in a pocket. I hope they'll update the design when the iPhone 5 is available, as I intend to buy and would very much like to be able to take 3D pictures and videos with it.
