San Diego order #464xx reporting in. Receiving my shipping notification this evening, first through UPS my choice and 5 hours later from Oculus. Delivery is tomorrow! IT'S LIKE CHRISTMAS OH MY GAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Yessss... tracking by reference & package definitely works, it shows shipped along with my name. No notification from Oculus yet. Arrives Monday from Anaheim (fingers crossed first for Fri considering same state) !

I second that, it says signature required on the UPS information. Do we need to sign for these?

On the ups website it says that the package requires a signature. It does give you an option through the UPS my choice to authorize them to drop it off without a signature. I have done this so hopefully I don't get stuck waiting until
monday.

Nope, It was delivered in the ordinary mail, like the bills but I live in México so it may be different for you.

Order 45000 or so had been shipped. What a relief. Hang in there if you are still waiting! I had to change to a later shipping date for 5 bucks. But at least I know it's on it's way!

Order 45760 to Portland, Oregon arrived today while at work, but I had bypassed the signature check with UPS MyFunTimes so it was there waiting when I got home. It shipped on Tuesday or so as part of the post-customs batch. More thoughts in the First Impressions thread..

Oh and my Rift seems to have come with the full variety of accessories, the 2 HDMI cables, DVI cable, HDMI->DVI converter, etc etc, so maybe they are still sending it all out, or maybe they are just flipping a coin, or maybe they used to come with even more stuff

May I ask what your order number is? I'm wondering how close I'm getting for a UK order, but guessing it will be in another batch (mine is 4812x).

Forgot to come on here and post... Order 20030, ordered about a half hour after the email was sent out on September 26th, arrived Wednesday, July 3rd.

Now just to get the f*cking thing replaced... Every damn time I wiggle the connection, the screen flickers. Well, at least I have been able to try it.

It's only been a week since I got my processing email. Sadly though, my RMA mobo still hasn't arrived -.- ASUS hurry your butt up!!!

I still have about two months to wait at this rate.

(slightly ot)...

What's more frustrating is that I need the physical Rift in my grubby hands so I can do more work on getting the 1080p panels.
I also want to see what can be done to make the tracker wireless without using wireless USB.

No word back yet about the 1080p panels, but I can sense them getting closer.

Yep. Although I got the email on the 10th, it did start shipping on the 9th. #0494xx, ordered April 4th.

Just got my email that my Oculus Rift is being shipped by UPS. Both good and bad news.

Good news, is the oculus rift is actually being shipped, bad news, is I might have to pay crazy import fees and handling charges because I live in Canada.

I thought Oculus was going to send it to us by USPS to avoid this.

Wonder what happened.

This might be kind of a stupid question, but can someone tell me what my order number actually means? I mean, literally the number!

Because i've read in the last blogpost from oculus vr that they shipped a total of 17000 units by now. My order Number is 59xxx. This doesnt mean that there have actually been 59xxx people before me ordering one right?

Because if so, i can not imagine that they make it to ship current orders in August if there are another 42000 orders between me and those 17k already send. Can somebody explain?
