Order ID 0445XX is going into processing within the next 24/48 hours. Just got the email. It's been a long time. I'm sure it's worth the wait. Still lots more time to go.

My processing email came in on the 3rd, just for reference. Shipped on the 6th, but I only got the email today. Sadly, it is being posted to my parents place as I moved during the wait and didn't want to risk it, so it might take a while for me to find out it's here.

I'd better get ready... It's good that it's coming soon, because I already drank about a third of the Ginger cordial (it's delicious, and I'm impatient).
I'll have to clean up the house if I'm inviting people to demo it.
I've downloaded more than 150 Oculus Rift games and demos. But I still have to install some of them.

If you're talking about piracetam (PM), I've been taking it lately myself. More than anything it makes me calm and happy, so that even things that would normally annoy me or make me depressed don't (unless I really try). And once I realized I was being silly, it went away.

Overall I recommend PM to anyone, just start slow if you're worried, or don't take it It does have a slight bitter taste, but it is highly water soluble, so just mix it with some sugar or orange juice or whatever, or just swig it down in straight water, it's not very bitter. It does take a bit of stirring, a bit more than sugar would, but compared to most things, PM is quite easy to work with and imbibe.

Also, get a scale with at least 100mg accuracy, since eyeballing stuff like this just doesn't work. You can buy good digital ones from Amazon for $9.

Actually, I ordered two shipments of those smart drugs I mentioned (not Piracetam) for my parents, and it was actually the SECOND one that arrived. They said it would take 10 days, but it had been more than that for the first one. So I emailed the company and they said "Thank you for your e-mail. We are very sorry; we have just realized that the first order was placed on pending file and wasn’t processed. We will process it immediately and send the order today marked “VERY URGENT”

We are extremely sorry for any inconvenience caused."

If I hadn't emailed, I would have been waiting forever. And I'm not sure what marking the package "very urgent" actually does to make it arrive faster.

Oculus is actually very good, fast, and reliable at shipping. Don't forget, it's the manufacturing that is making it slow, not just the shipping. I'm very very happy with Oculus right now (that my Rift is actually shipping). Thank you Oculus for your amazing dedication in delivering Virtual Reality right to our door.... Although I just checked my email, and apparently I've got a private message from Cybereality that says "Board warning issued".... So perhaps I'll have to adjust my opinion....

On the order form under shipping information for did you guys put anything in the 'Company:' line or 'Address 2' line? I didnt, will that hold me up?

I didn't put anything in "Company" or "Address 2". But apparently my Rift is on the delivery truck driving around my suburb.

50xxx, received processing notification on 9th like most Aussies however it hasn't turned up. Got my tracking code and it seem's that somehow my package was shipped to New Zealand even though my address is Melbourne, Australia and all correct on the OR order page.

mine came in on the 16th but missed the delivery so yesterday took a fake sicky from work and after a few hours it turned out to be a legitimate sicky.

My order on 47XXX still ready too... not sure what's going on here. Have to take my holidays and I'm worried that I could miss the delivery. The estimated delivery was for May, in the worst scenario I imagined middle June, then I awaited end of June, then July.. now it's the end of July and we're going into August. If I knew it was August I would never ordered it, nor because of the waiting, but because I wouldn't be available.
They are not going to send any newsletter about the status, nor spending 10 minutes to explain anyone what's going on, I hope to see some unscrupulous Chinese to flood the market with a cheap copy.. and honestly who cares about the legit competition.

I'll make sure I've got some cash ready in case there is tax, but I'm hoping there won't be.
I was starting to feel like this delivery would never happen. I'm slightly surprised as I thought it would take even longer than this.

My status page is still stuck on "READY" btw.

It should be a couple of days before it's shipped, and then it obviously depends on your location, but from what I've seen, it's around 2 weeks.

Mine arrived today - thought it was just a new sim card then.. woah, that box is too big to be a simcard... it couldn't be? Could it?! hehehehehe

I'm sure it's only my imagination, but the screendoor doesn't seem as bad as the one I borrowed a month or so back. Don't want to start a massive rumour mill thing, it's probably just that I'd built it up in my mind to be worse than it is. It really irritated me the weekend I had a borrowed rift, but today has been no bother. I now have a sick sister-in-law and a video of my wife screaming her head off on the riftcoaster

I'll play some games this weekend no doubt, but soon I promise, I'll do some development!

Wow, it seems like after the last batch got stuck at customs they're rapidly catching up now.

I'm glad more of the EU peeps will be getting their Rifts soon.

Motion sickness does wear off after a while btw.
Unfortunately, I seem to be the only one out of four family members who felt a bit queasy.
Definitely getting used to it on the second day. OceanRift is good to start with.
