Issues with Vizio and USB Media Player

Post by Shilar »

I have issues with the Vizio E3D420VX and the standard USB player it has. I know how to get it to 3D, but at issue is what formats, and how should the 3D be set up to utilize fullscreen 3D. I tried the same format that worked on the LG (Over/Under half-height MP4) and the picture didn't even turn out right (One side had both channels, other side nothing). I tried then half-height SBS with AVI, and while the audio didn't come out (it being 6-ch audio) the video viewed right and perfect... SBS MP4, the audio worked but the video was stretched horizontally. I went full height over/under and same result as the half-height. It's odd that AVI works, but MP4 doesn't. Help?

Usually SBS (half-width, squished) is the commonly supported format. Maybe try that.

Is there a good program that can switch the format to half-width SBS?

You just have to choose side-by-side and then check "resample" and put the x value as half the width you want the video to be. The y value should be the full height.
