Hi
I plan to buy a Sony HDR-TD20V 3D camcorder.
Does anyone know whether or not it is possible to play movies recorded by Sony HDR-TD20V by DLP projector? The 3D video format is MVC.
Thanks in advance
Nasser

Re: MVC format on DLP projector
You can probably do that with the Stereoscopic Player, though I have never tried it personally.
However I have heard horror stories about editing video encoded with MVC. Basically when editing clips it very difficult to maintain sync between left and right views because of the way its encoded. Its probably better to find a camera that uses a better supported format like side-by-side (even if you lose some quality) or stereo AVIs like Fujifilm uses.

Thanks for your quick reply. I should probably find a sample movie recorded in 3D by his camera and try to play it. however, the editing issue is real con!
