Hi guys,
I hope anybody can help me with my prob.
I've bought 3 Elsa Revelator Infrared Shutterglasses, but i don't own the Elsa IR Emitter.
Does anyone knows the IR Pulses to make the Shutterglasses work with a DIY Emitter?
I mean something like this - http://www.mtbs3d.com/gallery/displayim ... ?pos=-3211
Regards, Skipper
PS: Sorry for my bad english .

I haven't got them myself so I can't try it but have you considered just creating a circuit that you can just create a symmetrical wave (equal on and off) and just vary the frequency to see if it will enable each display?

Elsa Revelator IR-emitter @ 85Hz

So it just sends a single pulse and double pulse every frame? You might need to have a look at the double pulse a little closer to see the period between them though.Slah wrote:Elsa Revelator IR-emitter @ 85Hz

Re: Elsa Revelator Wireless IR Pulses
At first thanks to Slah for the graph!
I've tried these Pulses as:
250 usec pulse
11,44 msec pause
120 usec pulse
40 usec pause
120 usec pulse
11,44 msec pause
and I've tried the same inverted but it does not work for my glasses :-/.
Now I've bought a new ELSA IR-Emitter.
When it does work with, I'll post my results here.
(Hope that my glasses are not broken!! )

It looks to me like you need the vsync to alternately trigger either one or two pulses. The double pulse seems to have a phase of 160us but it's hard to tell for sure from the graph.Skipper wrote:At first thanks to Slah for the graph!

Are you actually triggering the IR pulses from the VSync?

Re: Elsa Revelator Wireless IR Pulses
No, I don't trigger with v-sync.
In my testciruit I use a microcontroller with a rectangular wave as Input and trigger the double pulse at the output with a rising edge and the single pulse at a falling edge.
The Frequency displayed in the pics is the frequency of the rectangular wave (must be the half of the pulses for the ir-emitter -> means the emitter runs with ~85hz)

There's no double pulse! The IR signal is delayed. I would test it without a delay first.
