Hello,
I plan to purchase a dell PC and it comes with a GT220.
I wonder if the very expensive upgrade to a GTS240 is mandatory or not to play in stereo 3D with iz3D drivers (I'm ready to accept low resolution and fewer details).

If you are just playing with the anaglyph driver (I assume) then you should be fine. I can run that on my laptop with integrated intel graphics.

No, in fact, I plan to use the checkerboard output on a plasma with some shutterglasses.
Finally, I upgraded to a GTS 240 (I got an offer for the upgrade) which is supported.
I just need to select the glasses now

So what was the conclusion? Do 3d shutter glasses work with the GT220?

Checkerboard and iz3d drivers are fine. The projector provides the shutters with the signal.
