It looks like this game is using the same (adjusted) Unreal Engine as Callisto Protocol.
Even though the game is advertised as "DX12 ONLY" with parameter -dx11 or adding the following commands in the GameUserSettings.ini (in appdata\Daedalic......etc):
[D3DRHIPreference]
bPreferD3D12InGame=False
bPreferD3D12InGame=False
I was able to get the game to run in DX11, there is a warning message that you are running in DX11 instead of DX12, when you accept the message the game loads in DX11 and in 3D Vision with the fix and NVidia inspector profile I attached.
I also attached two screenshots as "proof" and although it is not a "perfect fix" as it is using an old (edited) Unreal Universal fix, it is very playable and much better (to my opinion) than "flat 2D"

Thx for confirming, but it sucks that UE4 games like JEDI, Hogwart's, heck, even Gotham Knights don't launch in DX11 but this trash does

It's important to note that making unofficial adjustments to a game's settings or configuration files can potentially lead to unintended consequences, including performance problems, graphical glitches, or even issues with the game's stability.

Re: LOTR-Gollum 3D Vision FIX
It seems that despite the game being advertised as "DX12 ONLY," players have discovered a way to run it in DX11 mode by adjusting settings in the GameUserSettings.ini file. While this workaround may not be perfect, it allows for playable gameplay and enhances the experience, particularly when using 3D Vision with specific fixes and Nvidia inspector profiles.a31632 wrote: ↑Fri May 26, 2023 11:47 am It looks like this game is using the same (adjusted) Unreal Engine as Callisto Protocol.

The attached screenshots serve as proof of this capability, demonstrating that the game can indeed be enjoyed in DX11 mode. This discovery provides players with more options and flexibility in their gaming experience.
