I might have missed something, but in all the years I've been looking, it's pretty much only the Optoma projectors that have so far been confirmed working for 3d sequential in FullHD resolution. Plus I think one of the other low lag 1080p projectors.
However, it appears that the latest BenQ projectors officially support 1920x1080 frame sequential 3d!! This is potentially good news although no-one has bought one to confirm it yet.
They also support low lag 4k and 1920x1080x240Hz.

Yes, also I should have added, I was talking about the TK700sti:
https://www.benq.eu/en-uk/projector/hom ... 00sti.html
The X1300i is an 3000 lumen LED based projector :
https://www.benq.eu/en-uk/projector/hom ... 1300i.html
The manual for the X1300i shows the same frame sequential 3d support. In fact, it also shows SBS and OU support at 4k, so will probably downscale that to 1080p. Still, downsampling could look even better.
Pretty excited, will keep an eye on these.

I forgot you mentioned before that they have started to add sync ports again. I think last time I looked I wasn't sure which new models had the port? *edit* Yes I see a couple of models do, but I can't find any 4k versions with the Sync port?
RF sync is definately better, but I think you'd have to look at a 3rd party emitter, as the Optoma versions were very expensive and only available second hand on ebay? I believe there are still choices though, for example "Hi-Shock" in Germany make lots of different types of 3d glasses and emitters:

For me, I'd probably use the Nvidia emitter anyway for 3d gaming and I find I don't really watch many 3d films any more, partly because they can look pretty bad without frame interpolation. Well, the fast paced ones anyway.
Personally I favour BenQ, simply because they offer a better warranty, at least in the UK. 3 year transferrable warranty, with 1 year on the bulb. I could be way off the mark but for some reason I have a feeling that BenQ have a better build quality than Optoma.
