Re: Glasses-free 3D
Acer has unvealed small (15.6 in) 4K glasses-free 3D monitor - see https://www.techradar.com/news/acers-ne ... es-free-3d. This might spark more interest in 3D content (like helixmod), especially after Avatar 2 releases later this year. Now, if we just had RTX 3/4XXX and DX12 solutions...
Dual boot VR/3D Vision disk partitioning (multiple SSDs). 3D Vision - Windows 10 v1809, 425.31 driver, 32 GB, i9-9900X@4.5 GHz, hybrid-cooled 2080Ti, 4K LG E6 OLED TV with EDID. VR/geo-11 - 3080Ti with Vive Pro 2, also have Aero, wireless lens-modified Vive Pro, Index, Reverb G2, Pimax 8K.

Another pending (expensive) 3D display - see https://www.techradar.com/news/want-vrw ... -just-that.

It sucks that he compares it to VR. Like WTF, the level of 3D experience at top-tech sites seems truly lacking.whyme466 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 17, 2022 7:35 am Another pending (expensive) 3D display - see https://www.techradar.com/news/want-vrw ... -just-that.
Anyway, nice to see these displays coming, and from multiple manufacturers, too, hopefully it'll generate more interest, drive prices down and make more games compatible.
thx for sharing

Re: Glasses-free 3D
The 3DGM display sounds like something releasing soon, at a practical price. See https://mashable.com/article/ces-2023-m ... d-displays. I hope these manufacturers contact someone like bo3b to leverage helixmod.blogspot, and share in development/support of geo-11 and UE4-UF (and geo-12 and Universal Unity fix?). Has bo3b surfaced again? I believe he was supporting another company’s glasses-free prototype previously.
