How to start F1 2019 in DX11 mode?

How do we start F1 2019 in DX11 mode while still being able to shut it down? If we just start the game from Steam and choose DX11, the game starts in 3D but will put the computer into a non-stop black screen when you try to exit the game. Normally, the fix for this would be to use 3D Fix Manager but there doesn't seem to be any bloody way to get 3D Fix Manager to start the game in DX11 mode. Heck, 3D Fix Manager completely fails to even detect F1 2019 in the first place even though it detects F1 2017 just fine. I have to manually setup a 3D FM profile for F1 2019 but when when starting it that way (from 3D FM), I can only get it to start in DX12 mode even if I point to the DX11 EXE.



- No profile fixes for any of the F1 games of the past 5 or 6 years
- Borderlands 2's fix doesn't fix anything and the game's still unplayable
- the Borderlands 2 3D Fix says to use an AA Compatibility bits that doesn't exist
- 3D Fix Manager doesn't detect F1 2019 (yet it detects F1 2017) and I therefore have to manually setup a 3D FM profile for it
- creating a 3D FM profile for F1 2019 is pointless anyway as the game keeps starting in DX12 mode

Man, I don't know how much of this I can take.

Getting really frustrated sitting in front of this computer for literally DAYS trying to get 3D working for my games.

Listen, I'm not a computer programmer or anything like that to contribute to the 3D Fix community in that way but I've done a decent amount of work trying to spread the word about 3D Vision years back (and still mention it to this day). I'll buy it for you and even pay you if you can fix this (and possibly other racing games). i think they use the same game-engine as some (or all?) of the recent Dirt games (Dirt Rally, Dirt 4, Dirt 2.0) and those games all have 3D fixes so maybe those will help you?

Sorry to say, I just checked Steam and neither of those are avaialble either.. I am unable to purchase 2017-2019, altho 2020-2022 seem to be avaialable.. I am unsure why they are not avaialable in my region IS codemasters a Russian company or something?

I use a 3D Vision PC monitor. I'm going to compare the Dell S2716DG, Asus PG27VQ / PG27V, and Samsung Odyssey G7 (32") later today or tomorrow to see which one to keep for 3D Vision so, ya, just regular PC 3D Vision. I've never used Geo-11 yet for any games but if that's easier or the only way it'll work then that's fine with me. I heard Geo-11 makes no difference to the actual stereo image so, as long as it works, I guess I don't really care how

I just did some research and they have been removed from Steam. i think in April? Probably because the pieces of **** at EA, who just bought Codemasters, are trying to force people to buy the new F1 2022. This was never done before EA took over.

The game can still be fully activated / downloaded / etc. like normal if you have a Steam key for the game. I'll buy you some keys. Let me know your region. Some keys are worldwide but some are for certain regions. You're welcome to PM me if you don't want to say here where you are.

P.S. I don't think it makes a difference but I play with triple-screens. Just figured I'd let you know.

Perhaps try launching the game without 3DFM, use MSI Afterburner to confirm dx11, try some different profiles with different stereo texture enables,

What do you mean by "try some different profiles with different stereo texture enables"?

as well as some stereodx10flag settings if needed for one eye issues?

Yes, one-eye issues pretty common in these games. Same with Borderlands 2. stereodx10flag is an Nvidia Inspector setting, yes?

Honestly, I don't notice any problems. I don't know what I'm looking at or supposed to be seeing...

Note: games with 3DMigoto fixes will typically assign the needed stereo settings, helixmod fixes typically do not

Are you saying 3DMigoto fixes are different than HelixMod fixes that 3DF manager downloads? In 3D FM on F1 2019, there's no fix to download but am I still supposed to click on "Install 3D Wrapper"? What does that do if there's no fix?

Well what novice is saying there should be a Stereo flag which most time is not there to put the game in S3D. Do you know how to use nVidia Profile Inspector? Now what exactly is your problem I thought you could not start the game in DX11 mode??

Well 3D migoto is mostly DX11 fixed and Helixmod is DX9 fixes.. I am not sure what the wrapper is supoosed to be for in 3DFM but I seen it in Helixvision too.. I think maybe it installs either Helixmod or Migoto?? not sure but it will not help unless there is a fix..
