As being great motion remote i wanted to try making it work with windows but with no luck.
This is the only LG magic remote that can properly pair with windows.
I tried using GlovePie but it crashes when trying to map functions.
I also tried using freespace lib but as i am not programing expert i failed to fool freespace to recognize this remote (probably heavy modded by LG).
Is there any i can make this work using freepieio plugin?
Any advice, script, example would be helpfull.
I will add more info if needed.

Even if that thing has a Freespace device onboard I'm pretty sure its interface is consumed onboard and its a total different interface being exposed on the bt

I think you are right. It uses BCM20733a BT and its general BT HID device. Windows recognizes it as mouse but doesnt output it (HID descriptor problem?)CyberVillain wrote:Even if that thing has a Freespace device onboard I'm pretty sure its interface is consumed onboard and its a total different interface being exposed on the bt
Some HID info: Device (pid/vid8502, LGE MagicRemote, usage 000c:0001 - 0001 meaning pointing device?)

Button events and maping should be possible?
