The Samsung Gear VR headset transports me from a gondola ride in Venice to a helicopter ride over Hawaii to a frigid, serene seashore, waves gently lapping, somewhere on this planet.
It was like being in Star Trek's holodeck. Immersive. Radical. Transformational. And not yet in everyone's hands because of one problem: If a game's developers aren't careful, all of this transporting will make many users vomit.
