Wiimote Emulated as Xbox 360 Controller

Post by lewispgj »

Hi all, glad to see there is a such a great development community keeping the FreePIE project going :)

I'm coming from GlovePIE, which I've been using to firstly translate my Wiimote button-presses into PPJoy buttons, which are then read by x360ce and translated into Xbox 360 emulated buttons, as I understand it.

This works for virtually every game that needs it, except the one that I'm trying to play, of course :P

Anyway, I figured I'd see if FreePIE can do what this other solution can't. Is it possible to translate my Wiimote button presses into emulated Xbox 360 button-presses? If so, could someone give me an example piece of code, for, say, the Wiimote1 'A' button being translated into an Xbox 360 'A' button?

Thanks so much!! :D

We support both ppJoy and vJoy, I do not think vJoy support xbox, but you could had over to their site and start a thread there about it. vJoy is a much more updated virtual joystick driver than ppJoy.
