As most stereodrivers, TriDef driver has possibility of making in-game screenshots with full resolution independent from active output device option.
Apart from most other drivers, TriDef creates snapshot in 3 formats at-once:
- Above/Below, JPEG compression (lossy), advertised with DDD logo
- Anaglyph (what for this ugly format in screenshots???)
- "TriDefPhoto" files, JPEG compression (lossy), without DDD logo but in proprietary image format (3rd-party image viewers are unable to open these files)
Notice that logo appearance is not linked with trial state of the software.
TriDef claims, that I am the only person who have asked for option to remove DDD logo from snapshots.
I like to dump snapshots and in them I want to see games I have played, not (stereo)driver or hardware logos I have used playing these games.
One more disturbing question is missing lossless image format (PNG etc.), which makes conversion from Above/Below -> widely adopted horizontal pair JPS lossy (if you would like to use JPEG as destination of course).
What other users think about this?

Re: TriDef logo on screenshots
Yes. The logo annoys me. Maybe for a trial version, but for paid software it's unacceptable.
I also don't like how these use strange image formats. They should save as JPS or PNS.
I asked about this once, and they claim JPS is patented, but then I wonder about all the other software that uses this format.

I completely agree, the logo needs to be removed.
