Running Vireio drivers runtime error

Post by zeddius »

Trying to use the drivers with Skyrim without sucess.

I have downloaded and extracted the files but when i start the perception.exe file from the bin folder i get the following error

----------------
Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library

Program: D:\...........

R6030
-CRT not initialized
------------------------------

Any help in resolving this issue will be greatly appriciated.

QUESTION : AM i supposed to get to the vireio GUI by starting the perception.exe? (just asking since i cant open it)

Btw! I am trying to start the perception .exe from the perception folder, tried to cope the files into skyrim main folder and start them there with the same result.

You can try some of the versions on this site, might have better luck.

Having the same issue here. I have tried on two different computers with the same result. I'm running Windows 7 64-bit.

I've tried different versions, reinstalling C++ and .net redistributables, but no luck. Since it seems to be a rare issue, I wonder if I have some other software installed that's conflicting. I've been uninstalling different programs and optional windows updates, but haven't found anything that works so far.

Did you try running as admin? Sometimes that helps.

Yes, that didn't work. It turned out to be a problem with some video recording/streaming software called D3DGear. Uninstalling it seemed to fix the problem.
