MTBS Caption Contest! Win a Free Game!!!

Post by Neil »

We broke 3,000 MTBS registrants this week, and to celebrate we have an exciting contest! First, look at this picture:

Image

This is our very own Sharky on his homemade simulator chair. Is he looking bad-a** or what?!? Think you can write a good caption for this picture?

Microsoft Games for Windows sent us a copy of Age of Conan Hyborian Adventures, and it’s yours if your caption hits the mark! Post your caption in this thread, and the winner will be announced in August alongside another exciting announcement!

Regards,
Neil

For some reason you seem to like this picture :D

I'd say:
I had to stay awake the whole week to make this thing and now I'm very tired - and it is still not working properly

And about the Game: maybe send it to Sharky? He made the picture after all :D

PS: it's interesting how you anounce the anouncements of anouncements :D

Sharky says: "Sure, you'll beat me with your friggin go-cart but i ain't got wheels on this thing yet!"

And of course as above: I follow the DIY "chair-thread" with greatest interest and if this falls in taste i think Sharky's really deserve the game since this is on his "cost". (bad bad guy Neil!!! ;) )

cheers

You might be right... a translation website says:

"I think I have forgotten something .. as I am coso stops?"

So you might be right and he forgot the monitor - and the keyboard and a 3D projector and ...

btw. what means the last part? That translation is crap...

Oh and I think the (naw)$ is very low at the moment... you might want to get something else instead...

Very funny thread :)

"When I sit this far back from the screen, I NEED the 3D graphics to pop out in front of the monitor."

or

"Look how far back I have to sit when the graphics pop out of the screen!"

Although I liked somebody else's one about the convergence making the car disappear best.

Me to wife : "Honey, is there anything you find funny about this picture?"

Wife : "Did you empty the dish washer yet?"

Geeze it's hard to find good help nowadays!

My next entry...

"The hopes and dreams of this project all clinging to a thinly stretched, twisted, bent cable. Murphy stirs in his slumber...."

Adam Savage: "I reject your reality and substitute it for my own."

Jamie Hyneman: "It's really cool, but really unusual."

"This is my project to become a robot specialist/engeneer at MythBusters. I'm busting the myth, that you can't recreate Reality... Unfortunatly it's realy hard and time consuming. I just finished the first part of my new reality: This car"

Unfortunatly there are so many good statements, that I don't think anynoe can realy win... So we would need more games, because we'll get about 5-10 winners
