NVIDIA 182.07 Stereo Beta and 1.05 CD Beta Thread!
NVIDIA has put out new beta drivers!
Key features include:
Fixed issue with NVIDIA Stereoscopic 3D Video Player which caused the video to be compressed horizontally.
Updated driver to better support the DepthQ 3D projector.
Updated game profiles:
Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate Box. Added support for the Trial version.
Crysis Warhead. Updated profile to support DirectX 10.
Guitar Hero Aerosmith. Updated game for new convergence settings.
Mirrors Edge. Updated game profile to recommend using the NVIDIA Control Panel laser sight.
QQ Speed
Warhammer 40000: Dawn of War® II
Cool! The drivers are already available in our downloads section. Give them a try and share your results.
Remember the days when NVIDIA only put out drivers once every few months? This is a very positive change. Good!
Regards,
Neil

Hi Neil,

Still, there is a bug in the drivers causing that the generic DDC VGA output can't be selected. I honestly hope it will be fixed in the next release. Should I contact nvidia support or they may be already awared of that?

I'm sure they just haven't been made aware of it. Post it on their forums, ALL OF THEM. I think 1000 posts should get their attention.crim3 wrote:Still, there is a bug in the drivers causing that the generic DDC VGA output can't be selected. I wonder if it's related to the bug at my local PC parts supplier who seems to have a bug in their pricing system. It seems to add a huge amount for all the nvidia cards, especially the new ones!!!

So I will thy them wit the fitting forceware (182.05 beta)
Results to come
Edith adds some Results:
I Finaly got hands on an WoW WOTLK client. The in-depth mouse is great, just like grabbing into the scene. (The algorythem seem to be based on the laser-sight)
Most games are working sililar as before, may an bit faster (1-2FPS, may also be the Dayly mood of my pc...). Most Blur/Glow problems still occure (Testet in X3:TC, IZ3D has no problem there)
All in all, ther is progress. I hope the next version will encounter the Glow effects...

I can't seem to find the info anywhere. Do Nvidia stereo drivers support dual projectors?
Thanks, Warren.

Only the old ones. Newer stereodrivers only support anaglyph, zalman and 3d-visioncertified equipment. (I think)

XForce3D = $1,009.95
nVidia = $200
I know which one I'd prefer... shame as iz3D works with the XForce3D Glasses but it seems they don't sell them now as Shipping is added as $1,000 to any Country (I tried US, UK, Japan. All cost $1000 shipping)
Note: Shipping is added via PayPal
