Matrox TripleHead2Go and 3D
I have had no success in running FSX in 3D across three Samsung 2233RZ monitors at 5040 X 1050 using TripleHead2Go Digital. This resolution works extremely well in 2D. No problem running 3D with Nvidias glasses and one monitor, with no TH2Go, it looks good. It seems Matrox will not facilitate 120Hz ? My graphics card is an XFX 8800GTX XXX and performs blisteringly but something tells me it's not about performance but more to do with a basic hardware limitation. BTW, I am using dual DVI cables. Thanks, Jim.

I am not sure you will get that working, but the good news is Nvidia is supporting this on their GTX 400 series cards (in SLI only) so in just a few more days you will be able to do this hopefully.

Gtx2xx and 3xx will also be supported by 3D vision suroundcybereality wrote:I am not sure you will get that working, but the good news is Nvidia is supporting this on their GTX 400 series cards (in SLI only) so in just a few more days you will be able to do this hopefully.

Re: Matrox TripleHead2Go and 3D
I got an email from Matrox support who stated that the maximum frequency at 5040 X 1050 is 59 Hz and with the lower resolutions 60 Hz. Seems it doesn't matter which card it is or how capable it is, there is a constriction at the TH2Go. I think 3D is a complete non runner with the TH2Go unless there is a clever fix to enable it to output at 120 Hz. Thanks, Jim.

Yeah, that is the limit on the bandwidth on dual-link DVI. No hack to get around that.
