Mostly steam and the PlayStation store yeah, If I need a physical copy however usually just friends or such works well.

Is it safe to use game keys from 3rd party sites?
I use Steam or sometimes Epic Store as I don't really trust random sites with keys.

I use it for each PC games, with steam, origin, battle, ect it never disappoint.

Some account for PlayStation are deleted via consogame, but a new account is always provided.

Some keys are not region free, so check the country where it can be activated. Ex: LATAM, Europe, ect...
