ghosting on DLP 3D

Post by saratoga »

Hi,

I have purchased my first DLP.
My HL61A750 shows me ugly ghosting image with Samsung Shutterglass.
I think DLP is ghosting-free. Is my DLP broken?

thanks.

My DLP has no ghosting with ED shutter glasses. I have heard that Samsung's plasma's ghost some, but never heard about a DLP ghosting.

Can you describe what you mean by ghosting?

Check out the DLP ghosting test here:

DLP ghosts are hardly noticable at all.

Some dlp could very well be totally ghostingfree but shutterglasses isn't. It could be an issue with either the dlp or your shutters. Try to lower refreshrate and see what happens.

not livid was able to fix the problem he had with ghosting. Something in the maintenance menus so you may want to PM him.

Thank you for many comments.
The ghost is strange. Bright images become dark, dark images become bright,
and colors are not changed. For example. white --> black, dark blue --> light blue, etc.

Is there any trick in service-mode?

Thanks!

Hi all,

Setting the frame frequency for 59.94Hz (not 60Hz) solves the problem on my case.

Thanks!
