Can anybody explain how to use Vireio 4.0 Alpha 1?

I feel like I am hitting my head into a brick
I have the Oculus CV1
For whatever reason, the oculus direct mode always causes my games to crash, I have tested on borderlands and fallout new vegas. Does anyone have any idea how to make these work?

Hi oVexlz !
Both Borderlands and Fallout:NV were supported by Vireio <=v3. The new Vireio v4 alpha currently only supports DX11 games, i'm on the ball to add DX9 support to create game profiles for all games we already supported.

Even trying 3.0.1 I could not get either game working

I think I'm missing the same thing you are, oVexlz. Give the Oculus DIY mode a try. I think you can get further that way, but I'm not sure how to get it to actually connect properly to the device.

At this poin You should add an announcement that clearly states that DX9 games are not supported yet and DX11 is being tested on v4...is funny to keep you reading throughout all the threads jajajja
PS: WE ARE ALL EAGER TO TEST V4 !!!! Specially for the VIVE arrival!!!

PS2: is this going to be a full product? how may I support this tool if it works?
could we also be testers for the releases?
I have this config I7 4ghz + 980ti + Windows 10 + HTC VIVE
and a loooooot of games!!!
