Vireio 2.0 + New Vegas Redscreen crash

I was playing through the tutorial level of my unmodded New Vegas, with the vrboost profile provided on these forums active, when all of a sudden, everything when red...

My entire computer locked up, sound was on a 0.2 second loop, nothing would react, and ctrl+alt+delete did nothing. The computer screen was still displaying my desktop, but the oculus screen was completely <255,0,0>.

I'm using a windows 7 64-bit laptop with nvidia gt 650m.
