So has anyone got blu ray 3d to work successfully on a home built, or cheap chinese HMD? Seems like it would be fairly simple with the use of a demultiplexer. Any one have a source for a cheap one?
Would something like this work?:
BD player>HD FURY>VGA demultiplexer> split L and R signal to corresponding screen.
Might as well get an HMZ-T1 ....
Blu ray 3d with DIY(or cheap) HMD, been done yet?

You can rip the Blu-Ray using various software (like DvdFab) and convert to SBS will work with basically anything (using Stereoscopic Player or similar).
