My company makes 3D webcams. Snapshot of the prototype below. The units sitting in our warehouse are actually all black. It has 2 usb2 connectors and 3d camera drivers.

Don't bother looking at the website other than that picture. It's 5 years old or more. But, the snapshot is valid.

These cams are physically available, but not quite available for consumers yet. We have a contract with an company to release them on thier for pay-per-minute live chat (adult) site first.

get 2 regular cameras (better if Identical, a 1.3 megapixel camera is prefferable and if you have the cash get 2.0 megapixels), duct tape em together and you have a 3d webcam :)

I use 2 standard Canon IXUS 70's: http://www.cameras.co.uk/reviews/canon-ixus-70.cfm
and mount them in a homemade case side by side (distance between lenses 8,9cm).
They shoot VGA video in 640*480 @ 30fps and have a USB connection. Just started using them. I'm pleased so far.

That camera sounds very interesting, its almost exactly what I need. I was trying to find a webcam that could be mounted on an HMD (I'm using a VR920) for mobile AR applications. None of the stuff I've seen on the market would be compact enough (without serious modding) but that image you posted is just what I had in mind for a design. I was going to (and still might) get 2 Logitech QuickCam Ultra Visions and attach them together somehow, but a manufactured solution would be just as well. Please let me know when these become available. Also, you can PM and let me know about the site you are talking about. That sounds like it could be interesting...

Also, the TDVCam I think should be out soon:
