how to add comment to the "news" ?

Are you able to log in from the front page? Does it show you as being logged in?

Is anyone else having difficulty making comments?

I have the same problem. You click the "add comment" button and nothing happens.

The fix is to go to "membership" at the top and login again.

It seems being logged in on the forums is not enough. Probably an issue with the session cookie or something.

Ok. I will investigate this. The problem makes sense because the main site log-in is good for the whole site, but logging in to the forums ---> main site, not so much.

maybe because of this there are always no, or just a few comments regarding your news ...

I can't add comments on the news either, even after logging in the membership section. I think there is a version mismatch in the Javascript libraries used in the news section.

Here's what I get in the Javascript console :
