UDK works with a DIY Rift as well!

This is a repost from another forum as I thought if belongs here as well...

Wow, I didn't think it's possible, but you can actually run UDK made levels with a DIY rift with Vireio Perception and FreePie (if you use head tracker like me). Just copy d3d9.dll and libfreespace.dll into [Your UDK folder]/Binaries/Win32. Then simply run the UDK.exe file from the same folder and select the map you previously saved in UDK Editor. Mind you, this will make UDK Editor itself stop working, so if you go back to editing your level just rename d3d9.dll to something like _d3d9.dll while you edit and then rename back when you want to run the game in Rift mode.

Amazing, now we can have a DIY rift and the ability to create some UDK environments :) A dream come true indeed.
