3rd person game and Oculus Rift

Hey guys!
I pre order my oculus in april this year and still waiting this amazing stuff.
In need your opinion about one project, started 10 days ago on kickstarter.
I am a 3d artist at this project and i try to figure out of what if we try to create 3d person game for oculus, how it would be.
Anyway we need a some reason to try if comunity will be interested.

All i need is your opinion and its very important to me, because im a big fan of oculus and vr, but my frends in project are not.
They need a proof for my words.
Please help me change their minds.

I have experimented quite a bit with third person games in VR, and I have to say they work surprisingly well.
If you want to get a taste of what a good third person experience in VR is like, you should try the Oculus Rift Jedi Academy mod.

You really should show this mod to the devs working on the game.

oh, i see now. If you see my video , our camera is more top down and loked on x axis, and camera more far avay than yours. I cant to imagine how it will be work with that perspective. How oculus will be work with that perspective and locked Y axis.

I recommend zooming in on the game while it is being played with the rift so you have some room to look around.
With your perspective the 3D effect probably would look great.
Head tracking really is important, even if it adds nothing to the game, because without it the player could easily get sick.

i think it should be somewhere between remote controlling something like a rc car, plane or helicopter and how it is now on a tv screen with the camera trailing the character.

while i love 3rd person games on oculus rift i think games like Price oF Persia or DarkSiders or Dregon Age where world is at 45 digree view is more suited in comparison to Over Head cam which your game planned on.

Please don take it otherwise i had played TITAN QUEST & TITAN QUEST IMMORTAL THRONE and both looked nice in 3D on my LG monitor but in VR it will be all to gather diffrent experince so though your game is RPG its cam is RTS just like TQ so its up to you

Any case i don think making rift compatilbe means making diffrenet game paying huge licence fees and going through many law abiding formalities its just an edtional output for which there are many intigration like Unreal Engine 4 or UNITY and RIFT SDK it self is Free (btw what engine u guys r using.)

So give one more output option will not hurt anyone anyway,....
