Dear Esther vsync problems

Post by Teeks419 »

I'm having a problem with Dear Esther and hoping someone could help. So when I have vsync on it locks the game at 60fps but ends up being 30fps split between two eyes

and when I turn vsync off I get terrible screen tearing. I'm not sure which is worse. I've tried fps limiters and I still get the tearing and I've tried messing with vsync though

the control panel which did nothing. Can anyone help?

Those are your only two choices at the moment. V-sync on and 30fps per eye or v-sync off and tearing.

Currently that's how it works. But I believe progress is being made that would solve this issue.
